Omar Souleyman is lining up his fifth album for release this March.
The eight-track Erbil pays homage to the Iraqi city that the Syrian artist relocated to "during recent uneasy times", according to a press release. It follows on from 2019’s Shlon, and builds on the dabke-influenced sound that Souleyman has explored on past records. You can listen to lead track ‘Rahat Al Chant Ymme’ just below.
Mad Decent will release Erbil on March 29, 2024.
