Rainy Miller And Space Afrika Team Up On New Album

'A Grisaille Wedding' features guests contributions from Mica Levi, Coby Sey and Iceboy Violet, among others

Rainy Miller and Space Afrika have joined forces for a new full-length collaborative record, titled A Grisaille Wedding.

Taking in 11 tracks, the record features guests such as Mica Levi, Coby Sey, Iceboy Violet and Voice Actor, among others. To mark the album’s announcement, the two acts have shared the Mica Levi-featuring lead track ‘Maybe It’s Time To Lay Down The Arms’, which you can watch a video for above. The track, Rainy Miller said in a statement, "is written as a semi fictional anecdote. It’s the inner monologue about the fight between accepting love and pushing against it."

In a statement about the wider record, Space Afrika said: "Trust guides bold and lawless production, which feels like a perfect celebration of each of our more intricate skills, leading first with fun and second with ambition, without hesitation and no wrong paths when exploring options during the music’s development. In its moments, it is romantic, harsh and revealing. A controlled drama, and catharsis allowing room for progressive ideas."

Fixed Abode will release A Grisaille Wedding on November 16, 2023.
