Godflesh have shared a brand new track, titled ‘Land Lord’.
The track is set to appear on forthcoming album PURGE, which was originally announced in March and sees them revisit and update the concepts of their 1992 album, Pure. In a statement about ‘Land Lord’, Godflesh’s Justin K. Broadrick said the track "references ownership, entitlement and the objectification of human beings, as practised by almost anyone who wields power." You can listen to the song just below.
Avalanche Recordings will release PURGE on June 9, 2023.
