Ziúr Reveals Album For Hakuna Kulala, ‘Eyeroll’

It features contributions from Iceboy Violet, Elvin Brandhi and Emptyset's James Ginzburg, among others

Ziúr is releasing a new album through Hakuna Kulala.

Her first release for the Nyege Nyege Tapes-affiliated label, the 11-track Eyeroll aims to challenge normative assumptions about music and politics. It features a wide cast of collaborators, including Iceboy Violet, Elvin Brandhi, Juliana Huxtable and Emptyset’s James Ginzburg. You can watch a video for the Brandhi-featuring title track above.

Eyeroll follows on from Ziúr’s past releases for labels like Planet Mu, PAN and Objects Limited.

Hakuna Kulala will release Eyeroll on July 28, 2023.
