The Quietus has five copies of the Nirvana Live At Reading DVD and CD to give away.
The DVD & CD bundle marks the first official release of their legendary performance at the 1992 festival, and will be available to buy from November 16.
The film, captured in grainy black and white, crackles with intensity from the opening shots of journalist Everett True pushing Kurt Cobain onto the stage in a wheelchair.
Starting with an electric rendition of ‘Breed’, the concert is relentlessly tense and captures a pivotal time in Nirvana’s history as they teetered on the edge of collapse despite their status as the world’s biggest alternative band.
With performances of classics such as ‘Come As You Are’, ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, ‘Lithium’ and ‘All Apologies’ as well as earlier tracks including ‘Love Buzz’, ‘Sliver’ and ‘About A Girl’, it’s a performance every Nirvana fan should witness.
To be in with a chance of winning a copy of both the DVD and accompanying CD, just answer the following question:
Which pop tribute act did Kurt Cobain personally choose to play at the 1992 Reading Festival?
[A] The Bootleg Beatles
[B] Bjorn Again
[C] The Rolling Clones
[D] By Jovi
