Armenia’s Urvakan Festival Completes 2022 Lineup

Mulatu Astatke and Pan Daijing are among the final additions to the bill for this year's event

Armenian festival Urvakan has shared the full lineup for its 2022 event, which takes place later this month.

Among the artists completing the bill are Mulatu Astatke, Mohammad Reza Mortazavi and Elvin Brandhi. Pan Daijing will also present a live audiovisual performance, while the previously confirmed ZULI will be joined by visual artist Omar El Sadek for a joint audiovisual set. Nkisi, 3Phaz and DJ Plead will DJ at the event.

They all join the previously announced likes of aya, Deena Abdelwahed, Senyawa, Zoë Mc Pherson and Nicolás Jaar on the lineup for this year’s edition of the festival, which will be its first since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and will take place at the Armenian Composers’ Union Resort in Dilijan.
