First Official Anthology Of Leonard Cohen’s Music Sees Release

The 17-track 'Hallelujah & Songs From His Albums' includes some of the late artist's best-loved work

A career-spanning anthology of Leonard Music’s music has been released for the first time.

Hallelujah & Songs From His Albums takes in 17 of Cohen’s best-loved songs, such as ‘I’m Your Man’, ‘Bird On A Wire’, ‘Suzanne’ and the titular track, which appears in the form of a previously unreleased live version captured during his performance at Glastonbury festival in 2008. Following the collection’s digital release, CD and LP versions will follow later this year, on October 14.

The album is a companion piece to the new documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song, for which you can watch a trailer above. The documentary has been selected for showings at Venice Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and elsewhere.

Hallelujah & Songs From His Albums is out now on Columbia.
