Floating Points Releases New Single, ‘Vocoder’

It marks the producer's first new music since last year's album-length collaboration with Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra

Floating Points has released a new single, called ‘Vocoder’.

Out today, the eight-minute track sees the producer lean back towards the dancefloor following the release last year of Promises, a jazz-oriented album with Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra. It’s the first solo material to emerge from Floating Points since 2019 album Crush. Listen to ‘Vocoder’ above.

‘Vocoder’ is out now on Ninja Tune.
