PJ Harvey’s ‘Let England Shake’ Set For Vinyl Reissue

The 2011 album will be re-released alongside a 'Let England Shake - Demos' collection

PJ Harvey is reissuing her 2011 album Let England Shake on vinyl as part of an ongoing series of reissues of her back catalogue.

Due out in January, the album will be re-released in addition to a collection of outtakes and demos from the sessions for the album, titled Let England Shake – Demos. You can listen to a demo version of the album’s title track, featuring a more audible sample of the Four Lads’ ‘Istanbul (Not Constantinople)’ than the final version, above.

PJ Harvey’s reissue campaign kicked off in July 2020, with the re-release of 1992 album Dry. Reissues of Rid, To Bring You My Love, Dance Hall At Louse Point, Is This Desire?, Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea, Uh Huh Her, The Peel Sessions 1991-2004, White Chalk and A Woman A Man Walked By have all followed in the months since, in addition to various demo collections.

UMC/Island and Beggars will release Let England Shake and Let England Shake – Demos on January 28, 2022.
