Heavenly Recordings is releasing a compilation of some of Andrew
Weatherall’s greatest remixes for the label.
Heavenly Remixes Volumes 3 & 4 (Andrew Weatherall Remixes) spans 16 tracks, split across two discs. It features remixes by the late DJ and producer of Saint Etienne, Gwenno, Mark Lanegan, Flowered Up, audiobooks, and Sly & Lovechild, among others. You can listen to a sampler of the release above.
Weatherall, who passed away at the age of 56 in February 2020, had a long-standing relationship with Heavenly, with label founder Jeff Barrett serving as Weatherall’s manager, and the late artist remixing the very first release by Sly & Lovechild. Over the following three decades, he mixed a number of the label’s releases at his studio.
Heavenly Recordings will release Heavenly Remixes Volumes 3 & 4 (Andrew Weatherall Remixes) on January 28, 2022.
