VTSS is releasing a new EP via Ninja Tune sub-label Technicolour.
Projections spans six tracks and marks, she says, a "new chapter" following her relocation from Berlin to London amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "Being in a new city gave me courage to explore some territories I thought I could never reach in my music," the artist said in a statement, adding that lead cut ‘Trust Me’, which you can listen to above, "is the result of that and one of my favourite tracks I’ve made."
Of the wider project, she said: "With clubs being closed and there being no perspective on when it was going to change, I felt free for the first time to do what I wanna do. And being in London, being surrounded by friends who are outside of the ‘techno bubble’ — everyone here is more genre fluid. That was really inspiring."
Technicolour will release Projections on January 28, 2022.
