Bill Callahan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy are releasing a covers album, Blind Date Party.
The release collects a number of covers that the two artists have shared since late last year, including takes of tracks by Cat Stevens, Steely Dan and Billie Eilish, among others. Each cover also sees Callahan and Billy collaborate with at least one other artist – Haley Fohr, Ty Segall and Six Organs Of Admittance are among the other featured acts. Ahead of the full release, Callahan and Billy have shared a new cover of Scout Niblett’s ‘Kidnapped By Neptune’, with Hamerkop, which you can listen to above.
Drag City will release Blind Date Party on December 8, 2021.
