Soft Cell Release New Single, ‘Bruises On My Illusions’

It's the second song to be unveiled from forthcoming album '*Happiness Not Included'

Soft Cell have released a new single, called ‘Bruises On My Illusions’.

Out today (October 7), the track is the second to be released from forthcoming album *Happiness Not Included, following on from lead single ‘Heart Like Chernobyl’. You can listen to ‘Bruises On My Illusions’ above.

Speaking about the new track, Marc Almond says: "’Bruises On My Illusions’ is a mini film noir Soft Cell story about a disillusioned character with everything against him or her who still has hope for a better future, despite the odds. A darker ‘Bedsitter’. Dave [Ball]’s ominous yet punchy defiant chords inspired the song."

BMG will release *Happiness Not Included on February 25, 2022.
