Planet Mu has announced a new album by Chicago producer Jana Rush.
Painful Enlightenment, which follows four years on from her Objects Limited-released debut LP Pariah, sees Rush experimenting with the footwork-based sound of past work. "This album is not a footwork album," she says. "It’s more like dark experimental listening music, an opportunity to be myself without judgement!" Planet Mu will release Painful Enlightenment on August 13, 2021.
