The ICA has commissioned a virtual event honouring late theorist and writer Mark Fisher.
For the latest incarnation of an ongoing series of For k-punk events in Fisher’s memory, five artists and musicians have been invited to create work responding to the themes of Fisher’s final lectures. It’s taking place in the wake of the recent release by Repeater Books of Postcapitalist Desire: The Final Lectures Of Mark Fisher.
Curated by Goldsmiths, University of London’s Natasha Eves and writer Matt Colquhoun, For k-punk will include artistic contributions from Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Lawrence, Time Is Away, INCURSIONS and Iceboy Violet.
For k-punk takes place on January 30, 2020. Find more information, and get free tickets, here.
