Seba Kaapstad And Oddisee Share New Track, ‘I’m Scared’

The track features on Seba Kaapstad's forthcoming album, 'Konke'

Seba Kaapstad, a band made up of South African musician Zoe Modiga, Swazi performer Ndumiso Manana, and Germans Philip Scheibel and Sebastian Schuster, have shared their new single, ‘I’m Scared’.

The track sees the multi-national project enlist Sudanese-American rapper Oddisee on lead vocals, and features on the band’s forthcoming album Konke. You can listen to the song above.

"’I’m Scared’ is a song that explains the way we sometimes feel when hit by the turbulence of life," said Manana of the new track. "Always growing, always learning but somehow not always feeling at home in your own life."

Modiga added: "’I’m Scared’ is a record that looks into the vulnerability of sharing the things we most fear. It is a song that humanises us and though fear is a low frequency emotion, it can be acknowledged for one to work towards a better emotion."

Mello Music will release Konke on November 13, 2020.
