Oneohtrix Point Never Details New Radio-Inspired Album

'Magic Oneohtrix Point Never' is out on Warp Records next month

Oneohtrix Point Never will release a new album next month.

Titled Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, the 17-track album is a reference to a misheard play on words of Boston’s Magic 106.7 radio station. It takes inspiration from the radio listening experience with a press release explaining that it "loosely summons the broadcasting logic of radio dayparts, starting in the morning and ending overnight." Above, you can check out a track from the album called ‘Long Road Home’, which includes vocals by Caroline Polachek.

Magic Oneohtrix Point Never is Daniel Lopatin’s first studio album since 2018’s Age Of and comes a year on from his soundtrack for the Safdie brothers’ film Uncut Gems.

Warp Records will release Magic Oneohtrix Point Never on October 30, 2020.
