Oliver Coates Details New Album, ‘Skins N Slime’

The cellist returns to RVNG Intl. for the follow-up to 2018's 'Shelly's On Zenn-La'

Oliver Coates has shared details of his new album, skins n slime.

Set for release via RVNG Intl., it follows on from his last full-length effort, 2018’s Shelly’s On Zenn-La, and is preceded by lead track ‘Butoh baby’, which you can watch the video for above.

Coates completed the album in Glasgow late last year. The works of German conceptual designer Hanne Darboven and unsung Dutch musician Enno Velthuys are name-checked as influences on the record. On behalf of Coates, a portion of the proceeds from the album will be donated to Down’s Syndrome Scotland.

RVNG Intl. will release skins n slime on October 16, 2020.
