Ikonika has a new EP on the way via frequent label home Hyperdub.
Titled Hollow, the EP comprises six tracks that take in elements of UK Drill, dancehall and grime, standing in contrast to the more techno-indebted offering of her Bodies EP which came out via UK label Don’t Be Afraid earlier this year. Hollow marks Ikonika’s first full release on Hyperdub since her 2017 album, Distractions. You can hear Hollow‘s lead track, ‘Body Servants’, just below.
Hyperdub will release Hollow on August 21, 2020.
