Algiers Share Live Video For ‘Animals’

They've also announced new tour plans for 2021

Algiers have shared a new video featuring them performing their 2017 track ‘Animals’.

The video was captured in the group’s hometown of Atlanta, and comes alongside confirmation of a planned European tour next year. (The band were forced to cancel a planned run of live dates for this year in support of their latest album, There Is No Year, as a result of COVID-19.)

Announcing the new dates, the band have said that they take the public health implications of live performance during the COVID-19 crisis very seriously, and all dates are therefore subject to rearrangement should conditions continue to make public gatherings unsafe next year.

Algiers recently collaborated with Massive Attack on the latter’s Eutopia EP, and also last month shared a remix of their own track ‘There Is No Year’ for a compilation benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.
