PREMIERE: Martha Skye Murphy Streams New EP, ‘Heal’

The three-track release was recorded at the 4AD studios

London-based artist Martha Skye Murphy has shared a new three-track EP called Heal.

The new EP comes almost two years on from her debut outing, Heroides, and just over a year on from standalone single ‘Black Eye’, while Skye Murphy also provided vocals for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ 2013 album, Push The Sky Away. It was recorded late last year at 4AD’s studios in London, backed by musicians Matt Merriman, (drums), Felix Stock (bass) and Felix Stephens (cello). You can listen in full above.

Alongside the EP’s release, Skye Murphy will also be selling a limited number of personally hand embroidered handkerchiefs made of 1900s french linen through her Bandcamp page.

Heal is out on July 10, 2020.
