Radiohead Continue Archive Series With Bonnaroo 2006 Show

"It's easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I've ever had in America," Jonny Greenwood says of the show

Last month, Radiohead launched a weekly archive series of full concert videos to help see fans through their respective lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.

That series continues this week with the debut of the band’s headline set at the 2006 edition of Tennessee festival Bonnaroo. The band have tracked down the full original desk audio for the show and it will be broadcast via YouTube from 10pm BST tonight (May 7).

Writing on Twitter, the band’s Jonny Greenwood described the set as "easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I’ve ever had in America. I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs – and that we all get back to live music soon."

The Bonnaroo set came a little over a year before the release of the band’s seventh album, In Rainbows, but included six tracks from that record, alongside material from across the rest of their albums.
