Daft Punk To Score Dario Argento Film

The French duo are teaming up with the Italian director on 'Occhiali Neri'

Daft Punk are set to provide the score for Italian director and writer Dario Argento’s next feature film.

In an interview with Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Argente revealed that the French duo are fans of his work and got in touch about working together when they learned he was working on his new film, Occhiali Neri (Black Glasses).

Argento’s film work includes the 1977 original of Suspiria, amongst other cult Italian classics. Occhiali Neri, which is set in Rome and will star Argento’s daughter Asia Argento, is still in pre-production. Filming is due to start in September, though that may be delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
