Sonic Boom Shares New Track, ‘The Way That You Live’

It's the second track to emerge from the Spacemen 3 co-founder's first album in more than three decades

Sonic Boom, the Spacemen 3 co-founder otherwise known as Peter Kember, has shared a new track called ‘The Way That You Live’. You can watch a video for the song above.

It’s the second track to emerge from his forthcoming album, All Things Being Equal, which is his first album as Sonic Boom since 1989’s Spectrum.

Kember credits his relocation to Sintra, Portugal as an inspiration on the new album’s lyrics, which stress humanity’s role in our planet’s environmental situation. "I wanted to mix bright digital with chunky analogue," says Kember. "Certain instruments have something about their sound that touches me deep, and I’m always trying to focus as much vibe as I can into the songs."

Carpark will release All Things Being Equal on June 5. Read tQ’s The Strange World Of… feature on Peter Kember from 2018 here.
