RIP Ministry, R.E.M., King Crimson Drummer Bill Rieflin

Rieflin was the hardworking drummer who managed to play for both the Revolting Cocks and Robbie Williams

Renowned drummer Bill Rieflin has died of cancer at the age of 59.

Bill came to prominence as the drummer for industrial metal group Ministry and remained in demand in this field playing with the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Swans, Revolting Cocks and KMFDM. He also helped Martin Atkins found Pigface after parting ways with Ministry during the Filthpig sessions.

Later in life, he had a varied career, becoming an auxiliary member of R.E.M. in 2003, playing for Robbie Williams and becoming a member of King Crimson. Robert Fripp confirmed his passing in a social media post.
