Nicolás Jaar has a new album on the way.
Titled Cenizas, it’s his first album under his birth name since 2016’s Siren and is said to represent his "life and creative output from 2017 to 2019." You can hear lead track ‘Sunder’, which was written and produced in New York in 2017, above.
The announcement of Cenizas follows a flurry of recent activity from Jaar. Last month, he released a new album, titled 2017 – 2019, under his Against All Logic alias in addition to an EP under that same moniker that featured FKA twigs and Lydia Lunch.
Cenizas is out on March 27 via Jaar’s own Other People label. He’ll play live at May’s Urvakan Festival in Armenia, in addition to curating an Other People showcase.
