White Stripes singer Jack White mocked Kanye West at a Canadian film festival last week by mimicking the rapper’s outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Director Emmett Malloy, the brains behind the new White Stripes film Under Great Northen Lines which documents the band’s 2007 tour of Canada, was fielding questions at the Toronto Film Festival when White burst onto the stage to parody West, who interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMA’s earlier this month when he insisted Beyonce was more deserving of the award.
