New Weird Britain is The Quietus’ own observation and appreciation of the various forms of experimental and unexpected art that’s taking place around Britain in unexpected places.

Following his series of talks for BBC Radio 4, John Doran is bringing his New Weird Britain lecture to London, to discuss what weirdness in culture actually means in historical and theoretical terms as why this is happening right now. This will be followed by a Q&A where attendees will get to dig into these theories in more depth.

The event is taking place at Bishopsgate Institute on January 29 and you can get tickets <a href=" https://www.bishopsgate.org.uk/whats-on/activity/new-weird-britain
