Richard Dawson Shares Video For ‘Dead Dog In An Alleyway’

The new visual comes ahead of UK and European tour dates

Richard Dawson released one of tQ’s favourite albums of 2019 with 2020, and he’s carrying that into the new year with the release of a new video. The clip is for the album’s triumphantly miserable closing track ‘Dead Dog in an Alleyway’. You can watch it above.

Animated by Ewan Jones Morris, the video for ‘Dead Dog in an Alleyway’ is a labyrinthine and evocative trip through wintry city streets. In conjunction with Dawson’s detailed lyricism, it’s a powerful evocation of homelessness.

Richard Dawson is continuing to tour in support of 2020 across Europe for the next few months, including the special Delight is Right event at London’s Barbican on March 28. Check out the full list of dates here .
