Ahead of their final shows in support of 2018 album Chalk Hill Blue over the next two weeks, Hannah Peel and Will Burns have shared a remix of their track ‘Moth Book’ by Bella Union signees Modern Nature. You can hear it above.
Modern Nature, the trio comprised of Ultimate Painting’s Jack Cooper, Will Young of Beak>,and Aaron Neveu of Woods, turn in a delicate reworking of the track, the original of which is one of two brand new tracks from the duo released last week as a 7" single via the Rivertones label.
Peel and Burns will play live this Saturday (October 26) at London’s Milton Court Conert Hall, before their final Chalk Hill Blue show on November 1 at Barnsley’s The Civic. They will be joined by sound recordist Chris Watson at both shows,.
Peel says that they will be "re-creating the album live with a scored woodwind quartet and very special guest Chris Watson to accompany the sounds, synthesis and poetry". You can grab tickets for the shows here and here.
