WATCH: Cucina Povera’s Supernormal 2019 Set

Glasgow-based Maria Rossi plays music from her excellent album for Night School Records, Zoom

With tQ’s highlights from this year’s edition of Supernormal, which took place in Oxfordshire earlier this month, having kicked off with a set from Rome trio Zu last week, the first of this week’s two sets comes courtesy of Cucina Povera.

The Glasgow-based Finnish artist graced Braziers Park for a set that drew on material from her two albums, 2018’s Hilja and the excellent Zoom which Glasgow-based tQ favourites Night School Records released earlier this year. You can view the set, which spans 35 minutes and sees the artist perform live alongside Malvern Brume, above, courtesy of IMPATV who have captured all of the video highlights that we’ll be rolling out on the site through the next month or so.
