Carla dal Forno has announced her second album, titled Look Up Sharp. You can hear lead track, ‘Took A Long Time’, above.
"’Took A Long Time’ is about meeting someone you like and not being able to tell yet if they
like you too," dal Forno says. "You wonder if you’re reading the signs or just misinterpreting
what’s going on. At that moment you feel super excited and really anxious. It might seem
trivial, but it’s also as if this is the most important moment of your life."
The album, which will be released on her own Kallista Records, follows on from dal Forno’s Blackest Ever Black-released You Know What It’s Like LP from 2016 and The Garden EP from 2017.
Look Up Sharp is out on October 4. Dal Forno will play a number of UK and European dates through October and November. Find tickets here.
