2019 marks 30 years of Warp Records and the label is kicking off its celebrations next week with a three-day series of programmes airing on NTS Radio.
The station will air over 100 hours of exclusive mixes, live sessions, unreleased music and curated archive recordings over the course of the takeover from a selection of Warp artists including Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards Of Canada, Kelela, Flying Lotus, Brian Eno, Battles, Lorenzo Senni, Gaika, Evian Christ, Oneohtrix Point Never and Yves Tumor.
The three-day takeover, which Warp and NTS are calling ‘WXAXRXP’, will take place from June 21-23. It will see Warp take control of both of NTS’ live streams, and will also feature some as-yet unannounced special guests in what a press release describes as "experimental free-form radio".
