Dorothy, the design studio responsible for creating a recent blueprint map of the history of dance music based on the layout of a Roland TB-303, has launched a new interactive map to chart ravers’ memories.
The ClubTogether map has launched globally with the intention of charting the progression of dance music and capturing stories from different scenes going back decades. Users can add their memories to the map before they are sorted into different categories covering ‘Venue’, ‘Location’, ‘Night’, ‘Decade’ or ‘Artist’. You can use the filters to pick out other peoples’ memories from particularly memorable events that you might have experienced for yourself.
"When we launched the print we were swamped with feedback from individuals about their memories of clubs and club nights from all over the world," says Dorothy of the TB-303-based print launched earlier this year, adding that lots of people wanted to add their own contributions to the design. "So we decided to create ClubTogether, which is essentially a place for people to share memories of clubs and club nights (past and present)."
