Online mailer Bandcloud will release a compilation for the first time next week.
The mailer is the work of Aidan Hanratty who collates new Bandcamp and SoundCloud uploads of various genres – usually on a weekly basis. The compilation, titled Missives, pulls together music from a number of figures that Hanratty has connected with online via Bandcloud, including Lisbon scene figurehead Violet, Seattle DJ CCL, Local Action signee Yamaneko and lots more.
Proceeds from the compilation, which is set for release on April 29, will go to two Irish charities: Merchants Quay Ireland and The Ana Liffey Drug Project. You can find more information and a teaser for the compilation here.
