Kate Bush Shares Rare Video

The video for Kate Bush's 'The Man I Love' is officially shared for the first time since airing in 1994

Kate Bush has shared the music video for her and Larry Adler’s 1994 cover of George and Ira Gershwin’s ‘The Man I Love’ for the first time since it aired that same year. You can watch it above.

It marks the first time the clip has been shared by Bush since it was originally broadcast on TV. It was directed by 10CC’s Kevin Godley.

In a statement provided to Pitchfork, Bush said: "I loved working with Kevin – so imaginative and great fun. I’d worked with him and Lol Creme when they directed the video for Peter Gabriel’s song, ‘Don’t Give Up’. Kevin chose to present the video in a very traditional way which suited the song extremely well. Godley and Creme are huge talents who left their mark not just in the music industry with their intelligence and wit in the band 10CC but also in the visual world with their groundbreaking videos, working with an impressive list of diverse artists."

‘The Man I Love’, as well as a number of B-sides and rarities from Bush’s back catalogue, is set to feature on The Other Side, a forthcoming collection of old music from Kate Bush. Last week, Kate Bush shared a video for ‘Under The Ivy’, capturing the first and only time she performed it on TV.
