Laurel Halo has been tapped to mix the 68th instalment in the DJ-Kicks compilation series.
The mix features two exclusive tracks from herself as well as new cuts from Rrose, Ikonika, Machine Woman and more. A separate vinyl package featuring individual highlights from the mix, including a number of the exclusive tracks, will also be released alongside Halo’s DJ-Kicks. Above, you can hear one of Halo’s new tracks for the mix, ‘Sweetie’.
The 29-track mix takes in the UK techno of producers such as Parris and Halo’s own collaboration with Hodge on Livity Sound, as well as electro and more percussive strains. It’s out via !K7 on March 22 and can be pre-ordered here. It will be launched at London’s Corsica Studios on March 21 with Halo set to DJ alongside Parris and Beatrice Dillon.
