Steve Gunn has shared details of a new instrumental album, titled Music For Writers.
Spanning 10 tracks, the LP was recorded in New York, Berlin and Latvia, and clocks in at almost 47 minutes. It marks Gunn’s first solo album since 2021’s Other You.
Since that last solo LP, the guitarist has linked up with Bing & Ruth’s David Moore to release Let The Moon Be A Planet and Live In London, and also collaborated with several other musicians on various projects.

Three Lobed will release Music For Writers on August 15, 2025.
