The first details of 2019’s edition of Glasgow festival Counterflows have been announced, with the likes of Burnt Friedman collaborator Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, producer Dakim and locals Ailie Ormston & Tim Fraser all confirmed to play.
Also announced to appear at next year’s event are Brazil’s MC Carol, Katz Mulk, Myriam Van Imschoot & Doreen Kutzke and Nicole Mitchell, Tomeka Reid & Alexander Hawkins, performing as a trio.
As ever, Counterflows is committed to showcasing leftfield and experimental music with its 2019 line-up, bringing together musicians from across a number of continents. Next year’s event will take place from April 4-7, across a number of Glasgow venues. More names will be announced in the coming months, but for now, you can find more information here.
