Kelela Reveals Live Album, ‘In The Blue Light’

Kelela is set to release a new live album, titled In The Blue Light.

Spanning 12 tracks, the recordings featured on the LP were captured last May during a one-of-a-kind performance at New York jazz club The Blue Note, which saw the US artist perform alternate unplugged arrangements of various cuts from her discography. In addition to tracks from her studio albums, she also performs reworked versions of ‘Enemy’ and ‘Bank Head’ from breakout mixtape Cut 4 Me, and a cover of Joni Mitchell’s song ‘Furry Sings The Blues’.

You can listen to the In The Blue Light version of ‘Better’, which originally appeared on 2017 album Take Me Apart, below.

Warp Records will release In The Blue Light on February 11, 2025.
