The Hague-based festival Rewire has added 35 acts to the lineup for its 2025 edition, which will take place this April.
aya is set to debut new music at the event as part of a live performance alongside visual artist MFO, while Matmos will also premiere their as-yet unannounced new album with a live set.
Alvin Curran is also set to present a number of special performances at the festival, with the first of these, Maritime Rites, set to involve numerous musicians on boats at a body of water beside The Hague’s parliament building. He will also perform solo with piano, shofar and electronics, and alongside live vocalists for a celebration of the human voice called Canti Illuminati.
Other additions to the bill include billy woods, Panda Bear, caroline, Fennesz, Erika de Casier, Lyra Pramuk, Alessandro Cortini, The Soft Pink Truth, Emptyset, John Glacier, Djrum, Wendy Eisenberg, Lord Spikeheart, Olan Monk and Slikback and Aïsha Devi’s collaborative project, AKA HEX.
They join the previously announced likes of Kali Malone, Colin Stetson, Joan La Barbara, Moin, Nala Sinephro, Arooj Aftab, Backxwash and Colin Self, among many others.
