Meatraffle preview their upcoming second album with a video for new track 'London Life'

Meatraffle have shared the first taste of their upcoming second album in the form of ‘London Life’. You can check the video above.

The clip hones in on the drearier aspects of living in the big city, setting its sights of the ubiquity of Foxtons and more to the refrain of "London life is killing me".

"The song is about the contradictory nature of London: its rotten pompous arse that twerks in front of your face then does a number two all over you, the buildings nobody can live in, the politics, concealed or brushed away histories of the not so ‘ordinary’ working classes," says Meatraffle’s Zsa Zsa Sapien. "London is like a terrible relationship, the most awful lover you could ever have, but you still go back to it because of its charm and the draw, its radiation of opium like street lights."

The group have finished recording their second album which will follow on from last year’s Hi-Fi Classics. A release is expected early next year.
