Autechre are this week’s Artist In Residence on BBC Radio 6 Music, which sees them put together four one-hour mixes to air on the station each night between Monday and Thursday.
The series of mixes kicked off last night (December 9), with a show that saw the duo particularly focus on hip hop playing tracks by the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, ELUCID, Roc Marciano and billy woods, as well as the latter’s Backwoodz Studioz label. Sitting alongside those selections were cuts by Pink Floyd, Space Afrika, 96 Back and SDEM, among others.
The next show airs tonight (December 10) at 11pm GMT, with the other two shows also kicking off at the same time on Wednesday (December 11) and Thursday (December 12).
