My Bloody Valentine have announced a one-off live show for late 2025, which will be their first concert since 2018.
The band posted to social media today confirming that they are set to play Dublin’s 3Arena on November 22, offering no further details on whether fans can expect other shows elsewhere next year. It will be their first Irish headline gig since 1992.
The group have laid low in the last few years with Kevin Shields having last hinted at new music being on the horizon sometime in a 2021 interview with The New York Times, in which he confirmed they were working on two new albums having signed to Domino. They haven’t released any new material since 2013’s m b v LP.
Tickets for the Dublin show will go on sale this Friday (November 29) at 10am local time. Pre-sale access is also available from tomorrow (November 26) at 9am, but it is only available to those who sign up for the band’s newsletter.
