Blawan is releasing a new EP through XL.
Spanning four tracks, BouQ marks the UK producer’s second outing for the label, following 2023’s Dismantled Into Juice. It builds on that record’s sound, combining his own heavily warped vocals with hulking drums and the producer’s distinctive modular synth-based sound.
To mark the EP’s announcement, Blawan has shared lead track ‘Fires’, which has been a fixture in the DJ sets of the likes of Four Tet and Joy Orbison in recent months. You can listen to it below.
