New Box Set Collects BBC Radio Sessions by The Fall, Stereolab and More

The 10x12-inch vinyl set from Beggars Arkive focuses on live performances recorded for John Peel's BBC radio shows

A new box set put out by Beggars Arkive collects BBC radio sessions by a number of artists recorded between the 1970s and 2000s.

Split across 10 pieces of 12-inch vinyl, BBC Radio Sessions, Vol 1 focuses on live performances that various acts recorded at the BBC’s studios for John Peel’s radio shows. Individual records were originally sent out on a monthly subscription service through this year, with the contents of each one kept secret until they arrive in people’s hands.

Among the acts whose BBC radio sessions are featured in the box set are The Fall, Stereolab, Tubeway Army, Mouse On Mars, Bauhaus and Electrelane.

You can order a copy of the box set, and find more information on its contents, here.

BBC Radio Sessions, Vol 1 is out now on Beggars Arkive.
