PJ Harvey To Score New Play

A stage adaption of the film All About Eve is set to feature a soundtrack by PJ Harvey

PJ Harvey is to score a new stage adaptation of the 1950 film All About Eve.

The news was announced on Harvey’s website, which revealed that the Ivo Van Hove-directed adaptation would star Gillian Anderson and Lily James. Performances will take place at London’s Noël Coward Theatre.

The play will premiere on February 2 and run for 14 weeks through to May. Tickets go on general sale this Friday (February 28) and you can find more information here.

This isn’t Harvey’s first foray into scoring plays. In 2009, she provided the score for the Broadway play Hedda Gabler, and later scored an adaptation of Hamlet in London in 2011. Her last score for a play came in 2016 as part of an adaptation of the play The Nest.
