The Sabres Of Paradise Reunite for Live Shows 30 Years After Splitting

The Sabres Of Paradise are set to play a series of reunion live shows in 2025.

The ambient music and downtempo group shared news of their plans via an Instagram post with their first confirmed show so far set to take place at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound next June. Further dates will be announced in the coming months.

Writing on social media, the group said: “This will be our first show since 1995 and we are going to make it something special. The band would also like to say that the reason we have reformed is to help cement the legacy of our dearly departed brother Andrew Weatherall, a true visionary and musical genius who we miss everyday and we hope we do him proud.”

The Sabres Of Paradise formed in 1992 as a three-piece consisting of Weatherall, Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns. They released three albums, including the classic Haunted Dancehall, and a number of 12-inch singles via Warp Records before disbanding in 1995.
