Amsterdam club De School will chronicle its eight-year history in a new 160-page book due to be published soon.
The limited edition HET ALTIJD features a translucent dust cover and elastic binding. It’s priced at €35, and a waiting list to purchase it is live online here.
A description of the book by De School reads: “Your 160-page visual journey to and through De School Amsterdam. A sensory, rearrangeable and time-transcending capsule of individual and communal experiences. Back to what once was and now is – voor altijd.”
The much-loved Amsterdam venue – which housed club nights, live gigs, art exhibitions, football tournaments and other events, as well as a restaurant – closed for good in January of this year having originally opened in 2016.
In June, the De School team shared an archive of more than 800 set recordings from the venue, featuring the likes of Objekt, Lena Willikens, Rabih Beaini, Call Super, Shannen SP and more.
