Félicia Atkinson has a new album, Space As An Instrument, on the way.
Comprised of seven tracks, much of the record is based around Atkinson’s piano-playing, which she recorded via a phone placed next to the keys. Additional electronics, field recordings and the sound of human voices were later folded into the completed tracks.
This is Atkinson’s tenth solo album, and its release is preceded by the sharing of lead track ‘The Healing’, which opens the record. You can listen to the new cut below.
